Mix It Up

Two aging DJs find themselves caught in a club culture collapsing on itself. Like the monotonous beats and breaks on their records, their nights are shared with synthetic people, whose vocabulary entails only guest lists, clothes labels and cliched drug binges. With the next generation ever threatening to take over, Andy and Justin find themselves confronted with the horror of returning to the dreaded real world. Mix it Up is a black comedy that exposes the fluidity and absurdity of the Dance Scene, and the ridiculous popularity it entails.
